What Matters - More Than Just a Slogan
What matters. It is not just slogan. It is what drives our work. For 75 years, United Way of Northwest Florida has worked to create a positive impact by focusing on what matters - shaping our community and improving lives.
Beginning in 1932, as the Bay County Community Chest the organization raised $3,300 that year for our community. Since that time, the oganization has continued to grow into what we know today as United Way of Northwest Florida and now raises over $2 million per year for the six counties in our service area. During that time, many changes have been seen in the community and in the organization itself. The one thing that hasn't changed is the drive to do what matters.
